HGV driver

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate LGV Category C vehicles for refuse and recycling collections across Basildon Borough, covering different routes and crews due to annual leave and other schedule changes.
• Collect wheeled bins, sacks, and bulk containers from residential and commercial properties.
• Work outdoors in all weather as part of a friendly and supportive team.

Qualifications

• Essential: LGV Category C (HGV II) licence and valid CPC.
• Ability to undertake lifting, walking, and bending duties.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Desirable: Experience driving refuse collection vehicles.
