Overview
We are looking to recruit an experienced Executive Assistant to support our Executive and Member Support service in an exciting opportunity. Supporting our political and executive leaders, you will provide professional executive support to senior officers and members and ensure these are aligned where appropriate. You should have strong organisational and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to navigate a complex and demanding political environment, in order to support effective working relationships with senior officers and members. We have a culture of support, collaboration and a \βcan do\β approach to delivering the Council\βs objectives. We aim to find solutions whilst ensuring the highest professional standards and delivering value for money.
This is a full-time position with 36.25 working hours per week. This role offers flexible working with the expectation of being in the office 3 days per week.

Responsibilities
- Excellent organisation with a collaborative approach to managing and administering the work of the Leader, Chief Executive and Corporate Leadership Team, determining appropriate action.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to present to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Provide professional executive support to senior officers and members and ensure alignment where appropriate.
Qualifications
- Previous experience within a local authority/public sector setting is beneficial.
