ABOUT BASH
BASH Studios, a luxury event design and production agency based in Oval, is seeking an Event Designer for a 12-month fixed-term contract (potential for extension). This role is perfect for someone passionate about creative design, eager to contribute to high-profile luxury events. Working four days a week in our studio (Monday to Thursday) and Friday mornings from home, you will support the Creative Director in delivering innovative event concepts.
ROLE OVERVIEW
As an Event Designer, you will:
- Collaborate with the team to develop event concepts, moodboards and experiential designs that reflect luxury brand identities.
- Assist in executing creative projects from concept to completion, under the guidance of the Creative Director, ensuring alignment with the vision.
- Create and present high-quality moodboards, graphic designs and 3D visuals for clients.
- Design detailed event layouts and floorplans, and source props, furniture and materials that fit the creative concept.
- Produce print-ready graphic assets, ensuring brand consistency and understanding of print processes.
- Oversee the graphic installation process to ensure accurate execution at events.
- Liaise with production teams and coordinate with suppliers to achieve high-quality outputs.
- Participate in hands-on event set-up, styling and installation both in the studio and on-site, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Apply sustainable design principles and ensure health and safety standards are met throughout the process.
- Maintain organised records of designs and stay updated on design trends and industry insights.
KEY SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for someone with:
- 2-3 years in event design, interior design, set design, or a related field, preferably within a luxury or high-end context.
- Strong skills in graphic design software like Photoshop, Illustrator and Sketchup, or similar, to create floorplans, artwork and design assets, with experience in creating print-ready files and understanding print processes.
- A meticulous approach to design, planning and execution, ensuring every detail aligns with the creative vision.
- The ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- A team player with a personable and professional demeanour who thrives in a dynamic studio environment.
- A genuine interest in luxury, fashion and beauty, with an understanding of the standards and expectations in this space.
- Willingness to travel for events and work evenings or weekends as required.
- A proactive, solutions-driven attitude.
DETAILS / PERKS OF THE GIG
- Salary: ÂŁ30,000 – ÂŁ35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
