What you will sell: You will help take BaseOne’s core consultancy and productised services to market across three main sales lanes.
- Primer / Project Controls Intelligence: You will sell into mid-sized project-led organisations across construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities, energy and engineering. The focus is on helping project controls, planning and delivery teams turn Primavera P6 and project controls data into automated dashboards, schedule intelligence and executive-ready reporting.
- AI Agent Deployment / Managed Automation: You will sell BaseOne’s pre-built AI agents and managed automation services into SMEs and smaller businesses with cost, capacity, admin, customer service, lead follow-up or scaling challenges.
- Data Analytics / Power BI / Microsoft Fabric Consultancy: You will sell data analytics and reporting consultancy into SMEs, mid-market and enterprise teams that are struggling with manual reporting, Excel dependence, poor Power BI adoption or messy data foundations.
Role purpose: Your job is to create qualified commercial opportunities for BaseOne, get the right people into meaningful conversations and help turn those conversations into paid consultancy work.
Responsibilities:
- Research target companies, build prospect lists and identify decision-makers.
- Run outbound campaigns using LinkedIn, email, phone, Lusha, HighLevel and AI-assisted outreach.
- Qualify opportunities properly before booking discovery calls or demos.
- Protect founder time by avoiding weak meetings with non-buyers or low-influence contacts.
- Manage CRM records, pipeline stages, notes, next steps and follow-up dates.
- Work closely with the founder to progress qualified opportunities into proposals and paid work.
- Report weekly on activity, replies, meetings, qualified pipeline, follow-ups and market learning.
- Help test messaging, sectors and offers across Primer, AI agents and data analytics.
What good looks like:
- Consistent outbound activity from the first 10 days.
- Genuine conversations with decision-makers or strong influencers.
- Qualified pipeline rather than vanity demos.
- Clear CRM discipline and follow-up ownership.
- Evidence of which offers, markets and messages are working.
- A commercial mindset focused on cash received, not promises.
Ideal candidate:
- 2-5 years of B2B sales or business development experience, or equivalent evidence of strong new business ability.
- Comfortable self-sourcing leads through cold outbound.
- Strong written and verbal communicator who can speak credibly with senior stakeholders.
- Consultative seller who can sell outcomes, not just features.
- Comfortable in a small, founder-led business where speed and ownership matter.
- Interested in data, AI, automation, digital transformation or technology consultancy.
