PE backed growing business in Staffordshire have an exciting opening in the Finance team for a Finance Business Partner. The role is pivotal to the future growth of the business and will work closely with the board and leadership team. The Finance Business Partner will lead the FP&A activity across the group providing strategic and operational support to senior management. Commercially focused, the successful candidate will be adept at analysing data/financial information and comfortable presenting reports.
Core duties include:
- Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, including consolidating budgets
- Lead the monthly and quarterly forecasting processes
- Analyse financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods to provide insights and recommendations
- Create and maintain financial models to support long-term strategic planning and scenario analysis
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management, including variance analysis, key performance indicators (KPIs), and financial trends
- Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor financial performance and business metrics
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with department heads and business unit leaders to understand their financial needs and provide financial guidance
- Support cross-functional teams with financial insights for strategic initiatives and projects
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for financial goals.
- Identify opportunities to improve FP&A processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Implement best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives through automation
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
