You will own the full sales cycle, working strategically with e Commerce Managers, Heads of Marketplace, and Operations leaders at scaling brands and retailers who need to expand their marketplace sales without adding complexity.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle: from prospecting and discovery through to value-led demos, business case creation, negotiation, and closing new logos.
  • Strategically identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities within the Saa S and e Commerce ecosystem to build a robust pipeline.
  • Clearly map how Base’s solutions (multichannel listings, order orchestration, WMS, inventory sync) solve customer pain points and drive their core KPIs (GMV, margin, SLA).
  • Build trusted relationships with agencies, 3PLs, and marketplace partners to create new revenue streams.
  • Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and conferences, actively networking to build our brand presence.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting in Hub Spot and provide a tight feedback loop to Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of B2B Saa S sales experience (UK market), with a consistent history of achieving and exceeding sales quotas.
  • You are self-motivated, proactive, and thrive in ambiguity. You have a strong sense of ownership and the resilience to build a new territory from a standing start.
  • A strong, practical understanding of the e Commerce ecosystem, including marketplaces, operations (inventory, listings, orders, fulfilment), and related technologies.
  • Exceptional communication, discovery, and negotiation skills. You are confident running value-led demos and engaging with senior decision-makers.
  • Proficient with CRM (Hub Spot preferred) and modern sales enablement tools.
  • Based within a commutable distance to our Brighton office (4-5 days/week) and willing to travel for client meetings and events.
