Description
As a Technical Pre-Sales Consultant at Base, you will lead the technical engagement during the presales phase shaping solutions, guiding clients, and ensuring proposals are both compelling and deliverable.
You will work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams, acting as the bridge between client requirements and technical delivery.
This is a highly client-facing role, requiring strong communication, technical credibility, and the ability to translate complex workflows into clear, value-driven solutions.
Requirements
- Solution Design
- Design end-to-end media workflows including ingest, storage, transcoding, editing, and delivery.
- Produce architecture diagrams, technical proposals, and solution documentation.
- Translate client requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
- Client engagement
- Lead technical discovery sessions and workshops to understand workflows and pain points.
- Present solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including C-level audiences.
- Build trusted relationships across production, engineering, and strategy teams.
- Presales Delivery
- Support RFI/RFP responses, proposals, and solution demonstrations.
- Deliver Proof of Concepts, pilots, and customer trials.
- Act as the technical bridge between Sales and Delivery teams.
- Continuous improvement
- Maintain reusable pre-sales materials and documentation.
- Provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams based on client needs.
