We are looking for an experienced and strategic Account Director to lead the relationships with some of our largest global clients in the News Media, Brands, Media & Entertainment & Creative Agencies sectors. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and key partner to your customer, responsible for deepening relationships across the organization, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring long-term success. You will work closely with cross-functional teams within Base Media Cloud —including Sales, Marketing, and Customer enablement teams—to service client needs and business goals.
Your responsibilities will include identifying and pursuing opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, developing tailored strategies that align with customer objectives, and ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience throughout the entire lifecycle. A core part of your role will be to monitor account health, proactively address potential issues, and drive initiatives that support long-term customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. By building strong, value-driven partnerships, you will contribute directly to the growth and success of both the customer and our business.

Requirements
- A proven track record as an Account Director
- Experience managing large, high-value accounts with multi-regional presence, ideally in a SaaS, cloud services, or technology environment
- Good technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and effectively communicate technical concepts to a diverse customer base
- Experienced in leading complex negotiations, renewals, and service agreements with enterprise clients
- Good understanding of the media technology landscape and the ability to articulate the value of our solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, communicate technical concepts in non-technical language, to resolve conflicts, misunderstandings and disagreement constructively
- Ability to think strategically, identify opportunities, and develop creative solutions to drive growth
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues or problems, gather requirements and proactively enable the delivery of solutions
