Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical liaison during the pre-sales phase, translating business needs into scalable media-centric technical solutions.
- Build bespoke demos to customer requirements in solution demos, POCs, and pilot projects to validate workflows and integrations, acting as the lead point of contact for demo planning, delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
- Design, document, and present end-to-end architectures covering post-production workflows, MAM platforms, and cloud deployments.
- Lead technical sessions to understand client infrastructure, content lifecycle, and workflow pain points.
- Produce high-quality technical proposals, solution overviews, and architecture diagrams for client presentations and RFP responses.
- Act as a strategic conduit between sales and engineering teams, ensuring client requirements are accurately translated into technical capabilities and product enhancements.
- Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are viable and aligned with operational delivery capabilities.
- Act as a thought leader for the client and internal teams on emerging technologies relevant to media and entertainment.
- Document and share reusable pre-sales materials, ensuring continuous improvement of the solutions knowledge base.
- Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to help shape roadmap direction based on client needs.
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills, effectively coordinating across internal teams including commercial, product and engineering as well as with external clients to align solution delivery with business objectives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the media technology landscape including storage platforms, cloud services, encoding/transcoding, file acceleration, and workflow orchestration tools.
- Engage and build relationships with technical and business stakeholders, including CTOs, Heads of Production, and Digital Strategy leads.
Skills and Attributes:
- 3+ years in a Pre-Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or equivalent client-facing technical role.
- Proven experience designing and delivering end-to-end cloud-based media solutions (e.g., ingest, storage, transcode, editing, delivery).
- Deep understanding of post-production workflows including editing, conforming, versioning, and mastering.
- Solid experience with MAM platforms, metadata models, and content lifecycle management.
- Demonstrate strong presentation skills, technical fluency, and the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences, effectively translating complex solutions into clear, value-driven demonstrations.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, integration design, and workflow automation.
- Proven ability to produce client-facing architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills comfortable speaking to both technical, non-technical users and C-level executives.
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and spoken communication.
- Fluency in additional languages is considered an asset, though not essential to the role.
- Experience working with a mix of enterprise clients and independent production/post companies.
- Self-starter, able to manage time, priorities, and client engagements with minimal supervision.
- Ability to think strategically, identify opportunities, and develop creative solutions to drive growth.
