Position overview:
As a multi-award-winning managed service provider, Base Media Cloud is seeking a forward-thinking Marketing Manager (AI + Digital) who will own digital demand generation end-to-end using AI to accelerate smart, human-led innovative digital marketing efforts. The successful candidate's remit is to deliver multi-channel marketing activity to support the overall objective of driving quality lead generation to fill the sales pipeline and raise brand awareness. This role helps to bridge the gap between traditional digital marketing expertise and AI capabilities, leading to more efficient, optimised and data-driven campaigns, with personalised marketing strategies. Delivery of content creation for these campaigns is key in this role.
Role Responsibilities:
- Own the plan > build > launch > measure loop for digital campaigns across paid, earned, owned, and partner channels.
- Map and execute multi-step campaign workflows/journeys (email, website, paid, social, webinars/events) with personalisation and retargeting. This includes the generation of engaging content for each Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
- Maintain healthy CRM/MA hygiene (HubSpot), including lead scoring, workflows, segmentation of target lists and attribution.
- Create and commission high-quality assets (landing pages, emails, ads, one pagers, press ready copy); review AI-generated drafts with a critical eye.
- Collaborate with Sales weekly to review funnel performance and iterate tactics.
- Work with partners on joint content and campaigns to supercharge partnered growth.
- Plan for key industry events and tradeshows to drive meetings and in-pipe opportunities.
Skills, Focus and Attributes:
Top Priority Skills and Focus:- Full funnel demand strategy: Build and run a clear plan aligned to commercial goals - ICP, messaging, channels, budget and sequencing.
- Campaign orchestration & personalisation: Design multitouch journeys (awareness > consideration > conversion) with behaviour-based triggers, testing and conversion rate optimisation (CRO).
- Sales alignment & enablement: Define SLAs and handoff, keep lead scoring honest, and create enablement that improves MQL > SQL > Opportunity conversion.
- Measurement & iteration: Create dashboards in CRM (HubSpot), set hypotheses, run test/learn cycles, and double down on what drives qualified pipeline.
- AI assisted, human led execution: Use AI for speed (research, analysis, QA, segmentation ideas) while safeguarding strategy, brand voice and quality.
What you'll bring:
- Years B2B digital/demand gen experience in a scaling environment, owning strategy and execution.
- Proven track record generating high-quality leads and measurable pipeline; confident with CRO, A/B testing and multichannel journey design.
- Strong HubSpot and CRM skills: data management, workflows, lead scoring, reporting and attribution.
- Analytical, commercial, and comfortable presenting insights and trade-offs to stakeholders.
- AI fluency (research, data analysis, content QA, audience insights) with human led strategic judgement and copy standards.
Other core skills:
- Excellent copywriting (thought pieces, technical summaries, press ready content).
- A deep understanding of how to generate leads from digital marketing that deliver against Base Media Cloud's growth strategies against these three pillars: 1) Outbound Growth, 2) Partner Led Growth 3) Upsell Growth (Account Based Marketing).
- A proactive approach with behaviours aligned to the Base CORE values.
- Experience working in a fast-paced high growth business.
What success looks like:
In the first 90 days, you will:
- Audit the current outbound campaigns, website conversion, scoring, reporting, and attribution.
- Clarify ICPs, personas, and messaging priorities across our target verticals and buying groups.
- Launch a focused set of campaigns aligned to our growth pillars, with clear success metrics and sales handoff.
- Stand up dashboards that track the metrics that matter, from engagement to pipeline outcomes.
Ongoing, you will be measured on:
- Pipeline sourced and influenced, by channel and by growth pillar.
- Lead quality and conversion rates, MQL to opportunity.
- CPL, CAC contribution, and campaign ROI.
- Website and landing page conversion rate improvement.
- Event and partner marketing outputs, including meetings generated and opportunities created.
