Position Overview

As Program Manager, you will lead the execution, delivery, and management of complex technical projects related to cloud solutions, AWS infrastructure deployments, data migrations, and MAM integrations. You will ensure that all programs align with our organisational goals, meet deadlines, stay within budget, and achieves a high level of success and customer retention.

This position requires a combination of hands-on program management, collaboration with cross-functional technical teams (software development, cloud engineering, DevOps, customer success), and strong stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Program Planning and Hands-on Execution:

  • Lead the planning, design, implementation, and delivery of large, complex technical cloud infrastructure and MAM deployment, data migration, and MAM integrations projects, ensuring they meet business objectives and client requirements.
  • Deliver system rollouts and onboarding initiatives across multiple regions, ensuring seamless execution while adapting to diverse cultural, regulatory, and operational contexts.
  • Develop and implement flexible, scalable strategies that align with both global objectives and localised client needs.
  • Develop and manage program schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Establish clear program goals and measurable outcomes, regularly reviewing progress and adjusting as needed.

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Manage, support, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and third-party vendors, ensuring collaboration and accountability.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are aligned and working towards the same objectives.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the point of contact for program stakeholders, including senior executives, clients, and supplier-partners.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on program progress, risks, and issues, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
  • Manage expectations and ensure that stakeholders’ needs and concerns are addressed promptly.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and issues within programs, developing strategies to mitigate and resolve them.
  • Proactively manage changes to the programs scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring that any adjustments align with business priorities.
  • Establish risk management processes and conduct regular risk assessments throughout program lifecycles.

Quality Control and Continuous Improvement:

  • Ensure that all projects within the program meet the required quality standards and are aligned with the organisation’s objectives.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging feedback and performance insights to optimise program effectiveness and exceed client expectations across varied markets.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain comprehensive program documentation, including plans, reports, and communications.
  • Provide regular reports on program progress, performance, and outcomes to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure that lessons learned from the program are documented and shared for future reference.

Experience

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience of hands-on program management experience managing complex IT projects, including cloud-based systems and media asset management integrations.
  • Strong track record of successful program delivery, including managing budgets, timelines, and risks.
  • Financial Acumen: Highly detail-oriented, with a strong understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, cost management, and financial analysis, enables effective decision-making.
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Proficiency in analysing complex datasets to extract meaningful insights to facilitate data-driven approach to program management and decision making.
  • Performance Monitoring: The ability to continuously monitor and evaluate operational metrics ensures that the program operational process aligns with business objectives.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements in digital transformation contexts.

Communication and Business Systems:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Understanding of methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Business System tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Excel).
