We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated EHS Manager to lead our Environmental, Health & Safety programs at our Worksop facility.
As the EHS Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining plant-level EHS programs, policies, and systems to ensure compliance with UK regulatory requirements and Eaton’s global standards. You will play a key role in driving a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Environmental:
- Manage environmental permits, licenses, and regulatory reporting.
- Maintain legal registers and compliance obligations via Barbour & Benchmark.
- Oversee waste disposal and emergency response planning.
- Support ISO14001 & ISO50001 management systems.
- Conduct environmental training, audits, and incident investigations.
- Evaluate new projects and chemicals for EHS compliance.
Health & Safety:
- Maintain H&S legal registers and risk assessments.
- Develop and update safety instructions and inspection protocols.
- Lead accident investigations and corrective action planning.
- Ensure compliance with ISO45001 & ISO22301 (BCM).
- Deliver employee training and support the Workers Representative Committee.
- Coordinate industrial hygiene assessments and safety metrics reporting.
- NEBOSH Diploma Level 6 or equivalent in Health & Safety.
- Environmental qualification (NEBOSH or equivalent).
- 5–10 years of professional/managerial EHS experience.
- Strong knowledge of UK EHS regulations, RCRA, PUWER, emergency response, and incident investigation.
- Experience in manufacturing environments (e.g., power press, injection moulding).
- Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and process improvement.
- Financial acumen to assess operational changes and value propositions.
