Role overview
Lead the planning and delivery of trade marketing campaigns across wholesale and retail networks.
Work across brand, retail, wholesale and digital channels to deliver campaigns, product launches and seasonal activity.
Take ownership of a broad retail marketing remit within an established consumer business.
Key responsibilities
- Develop trade marketing plans aligned with wider brand and commercial objectives.
- Lead integrated campaigns across wholesale, retail and digital channels from concept through execution.
- Develop retail marketing assets, including point-of-sale materials, in-store displays, promotional materials and digital content.
- Partner with Brand, Ecommerce, Sales and Product teams to deliver aligned campaigns.
- Manage campaign timelines, budgets, agencies and external partners where required.
- Monitor campaign performance and commercial results to identify optimisation opportunities.
- Ensure activity is delivered consistently in line with brand guidelines.
Key requirements
- Proven experience in trade marketing, retail marketing or a closely related consumer marketing role.
- Experience in a retail, consumer, wholesale or direct-to-consumer environment.
- Experience delivering integrated campaigns across physical and digital channels.
- Strong project management, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercial confidence using campaign and sales data to assess performance.
- A relevant marketing or business degree would be beneficial, but relevant industry experience is equally valued.
Marketing capabilities
- Strong understanding of the retail customer journey and how marketing influences awareness, engagement and sales.
- Strong understanding of social media, email and online content channels.
- Creative thinking combined with detailed campaign delivery.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
