Role overview
The HR Data Products organisation builds governed, discoverable data assets for reporting, analytics, and AI across the employee lifecycle.
The Vice President Data Product Manager will lead the strategy and delivery of a portfolio of HR data products from discovery through continuous improvement.
Job responsibilities
- Own multi-year strategy, outcomes, OKRs, and portfolio prioritisation for the HR data domain.
- Translate business needs into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans.
- Conduct user discovery and align senior HR and business stakeholders on outcomes.
- Partner with BI, AI/ML, Product, Information Architecture, and Data Engineering teams.
- Establish data governance, quality, lifecycle management, catalog, metadata, glossary, and lineage capabilities.
- Use feedback, usage insights, and industry practices to improve data products.
Required Qualifications And Skills
- At least 5 years delivering data products, analytics platforms, or enterprise data solutions in complex environments.
- Strong knowledge of modern data platforms, cloud ecosystems, entitlements, cataloguing, lineage, and data quality tooling.
- Proficiency in SQL for data testing, validation, and ad hoc analysis.
- Experience with data onboarding, metadata management, governance workflows, and compliance in regulated environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including explaining technical trade-offs and business outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- HR domain experience with processes, systems, or data such as ATS, HRIS, payroll, benefits, time and attendance, performance, or learning.
- Understanding of HR data privacy, PII, regional data protection requirements, and HR analytics use cases.
