Jack’s Pre‑School offers a fantastic opportunity for a Practitioner to join our team. This role is part of the early years education team, working alongside the Early Years Teacher and Head Teacher of Barwick and Stoford School, to support a busy Pre‑School achieving and maintaining high standards of care and education.
You’ll be a driven, passionate individual with excellent oral and written communication skills, great organisational skills and the ability to work to targets and timescales. Ideally, you have experience in a nursery/pre‑school/forest school setting with high standards in childcare and customer care. You should have a good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements and outcomes, and be qualified to a minimum of NNEB, CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
Responsibilities:- Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children up to 4 years of age.
- Building links and working in partnership with parents, carers and professionals to promote the wellbeing of children.
- Developing and implementing the EYFS curriculum.
- Supporting and implementing the policies, procedures and practices within the setting, including all relevant legislation.
