The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
The community diagnostic centres (CDC) will enable patients to have their diagnostic tests within the community & they will not need to travel to Hospital unless required due to results. The creation of the CDC adds value to a patient’s pathway by increasing capacity for diagnostics & supports both outpatient & imaging transformation.
The north-east London (NEL) community diagnosis centre service provision is anticipated to include the following services, There is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Band 6 or Band 7 Cardiac Physiologist/Highly Specialized Echocardiographer/Cardiac Scientist to work competently in a busy Echocardiography Department, based at Mile End Hospital. The post holder must be able to rotate to one other hospital sites within the Trust network & be part of the weekend rota to deliver 7 day NHS. They will perform complex-level tasks unsupervised or supervised (working towards unsupervised) & assist senior staff as needed. They will work autonomously as a senior staff member within the non-invasive Cardiac Diagnostics department, assisting senior staff with managerial tasks. They will also supervise, train, guide, & support staff in the performance of their roles & provide support to senior staff members., An experienced Senior Band 6 or Band 7 Cardiac Physiologist/Highly Specialized Echocardiographer/Cardiac Scientist is required to work competently in a busy Echocardiography Department. The post-holder will be required to perform complex-level tasks unsupervised or supervised (working towards unsupervised) and assist senior staff as needed. The post holder must be able to rotate between Mild End CDC and one other hospital site within the Trust network. The post-holder will be required to work autonomously as a senior staff member within the non-invasive Cardiac Diagnostics department, assisting senior staff with managerial tasks. In addition, the post-holder will be required to supervise, train, guide, and support staff in the performance of their roles and to provide support to senior staff members. The successful post holder will be expected to join the weekend rotation for inpatient cover.
