About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Band 6a Sleep Physiologist to join our multidisciplinary team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career within a supportive and innovative NHS Trust. As the Band 6 Sleep Physiologist, you will play a pivotal role in leading and facilitating our comprehensive sleep service within the respiratory department. You will work closely with our Lead Physiologist, Dr. John Barry, and the Clinical Lead for Sleep Medicine, Dr. Nadia Gildeh. You will also manage a team of three junior physiologists, overseeing clinical operations while maintaining your own caseload of sleep clinics, CPAP management, sleep reporting, and triage sessions.

- Lead and develop the sleep service, ensuring high standards of patient care and service delivery within the respiratory service framework
- Manage CPAP setup, troubleshooting, and patient support
- Oversee and mentor junior physiologists

Person Specification
- Registered with the Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists (RCCP) or equivalent
- Experience working within a sleep service, specifically managing CPAP therapy
