Whipps Cross Hospital (WXH) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist (PT). Do you have a passion for educating & developing staff? Join our dynamic, forward-thinking Therapy Practice Development and Complex Cases Team (TPDCC) to support our WXH Therapy vision.

This role is pivotal to the future development and transformation of the support and training provided to our PTs at WXH. You will lead in providing & developing training programmes & competencies for PTs, supporting them in joint clinical sessions, career conversations, and skills development.

Role Responsibilities

  • Work across the acute Physiotherapy teams to support continuous professional development, education, and progression of PT staff.
  • Identify learning needs, plan, and implement training, and evaluate staff competence to align with local and national priorities.
  • Drive developments in PT practice to improve patient care, support education, training, and development strategies.
  • Support induction, preceptorship, and guidance for staff requiring performance-related assistance.
  • Support changes in practice based on evidence, research, audit findings, and best practices to improve patient outcomes and KPIs.
