We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic professional to join the SHINE Team, part of the All East Sexual Health Service. This role will act as the central coordinator for Newham’s C-Card condom distribution scheme, provide training and support to C-Card providers, and deliver targeted sexual health education for vulnerable young people. The successful candidate will lead on stakeholder training, coordinate outreach clinics and community events, manage referrals, and offer one-to-one support and clinical interventions where required. This is a varied and rewarding post, working closely with partner agencies to promote sexual health and resilience among young people. Excellent organisational skills, safeguarding knowledge, and the ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Central coordination of the Newham Young People’s Condom distribution scheme (C-Card).
- Provide training and support to C-Card providers.
- Deliver targeted sexual health education and outreach to vulnerable young people.
- Lead stakeholder training and coordinate outreach clinics and community events.
- Manage referrals and offer one-to-one support and clinical interventions where required.
- Provide outreach, pop-up/clinic based clinical services, frontline training and targeted sexual health education.
- Coordinate operational delivery of the C-Card scheme and play a key role in communications, social marketing and stakeholder engagement, including local and national campaigns.
- Collaborate with integrated sexual health services, bridging young people to mainstream services and acting as first point of contact for assessment, advice, support and intervention for referrals from external agencies.
