Computer literacy is essential, as you will be expected to input and extract information from the Patient Administrative System, Radiology Information System, and other computing systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing an effective booking service for patients requiring radiology examinations, with rotation across various imaging modalities.
- Offering services to all Trust-wide clinics within the assigned team and modality.
- Having a working knowledge of all clinic protocols and specific standards for each clinic or specialty.
- Registering new patients across all directorates, handling GP and patient queries, and scheduling appointments.
We are looking to recruit an outstanding and highly committed full-time permanent Radiology Scheduler to join our Admin & Clerical team. The candidate must be able to work across different sites within a busy team and use their initiative.
This department is fast-paced and requires a proactive individual. The role involves predominantly booking appointments for all modalities and resolving face-to-face or telephone patient queries. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential. Flexibility, confidentiality, and workload management to meet targets are also required.
