+ To be responsible for providing an effective booking service for patients requiring radiology examinations. You will rotate providing cover for a range of imaging modalities.
+ The post holder will be expected to provide a service to all Trust-wide clinics within their given team and modality.
+ The post holder will need a working knowledge of all clinic protocols in addition to any specific standards for each clinic/specialty.
+ The role will range from the registration of new patients in all directorates, handling GP and patient queries for all clinics to making appointments.
We are looking to recruit an outstanding and highly committed full-time permanent Radiology Scheduler to join our Admin & Clerical team. The candidate must be able to work across different sites, within a busy team, and use their own initiative.
This is a fast-paced department requiring a proactive individual. The job will mainly involve booking appointments for all modalities and resolving face-to-face or telephone patient queries. Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills are essential. You should also be flexible, appreciate the confidential nature of the work, and be able to manage workload to meet targets.
Computer literacy is essential, as you will input and extract information from the Patient Administrative System, Radiology Information System, and other systems.
