Overview
Barts Heart Centre – Perioperative Medicine. The new Barts Heart Centre brings together cardiovascular experts to provide a single specialist centre for cardiovascular disease.
You will be joining an exciting project to improve services for today’s patients and future generations and to create a world-class cardiovascular service.
Role and location
Theatre Knowledge and experience are essential for this post. The role is in Cardiothoracic Theatres within the new 10 theatre complex, supporting the cardiac surgical programme, complex electrophysiology cases and the nationally recognised Heart Attack Centre serving North and East London. There is an opportunity to develop practical skills in the operating theatre department.
Responsibilities
- Provide support across the cardiac surgical programme and in the operating theatre department.
- Contribute to complex electrophysiology cases and the Heart Attack Centre services.
- Utilise theatre knowledge and experience to assist in perioperative care and procedures.
