An exciting opportunity has arisen in our multi-professional inpatient therapy team at Newham University Hospital, part of Barts Health NHS Trust. Based in East London, we provide acute services for this vibrant, multicultural community. We are looking for a highly skilled, innovative, and passionate individual to join our Physiotherapy team as a Static Band 6 Physiotherapist.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, autonomous, and dynamic individual who is committed to further improving their clinical assessment and activity analysis skills and providing high-quality, timely, and effective services to patients and the organization. The successful candidate will work as part of an integrated multidisciplinary team to develop their clinical, leadership, teaching, and service development skills while working within a supportive and motivated team.

The team is committed to ongoing learning and development, and as a member of the team, the successful candidate will be part of this as well as take a leading role. Responsibilities include providing high-quality physiotherapy interventions for a caseload of acute patients, including those requiring acute respiratory management on ICU, respiratory, cardiology wards, and ICU step-down care.

This role offers the opportunity to develop professionally within the respiratory physiotherapy specialty and provide high-quality experience to patients and team members. The candidate must remain competent for respiratory on-calls and work within a 7-day service.
