Location: Biggleswade

Salary: £16.56 - £19.16 per hour D.O.E.

Contract: Permanent, Full time

Hours: 40 hour working week Monday-Friday

Role

  • Carry out effective maintenance and repair work.
  • Carry out routine pre-delivery inspections of new machines.
  • Fit extras to machines where required – both factory approved and locally supplied.
  • Perform all forms of repair and servicing to machines.
  • Complete repair, overhaul and diagnosis of plant equipment.
  • Maintain clear communication with the Workshop Supervisor.
  • Support and mentor engineering apprentices.

Experience Required

  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Completion of a recognised apprenticeship in a related industry to NVQ level 3 or above.
  • Demonstrable service engineer experience, particularly working on major component overhaul refurbishments.
  • Industry‐related training such as CSCS card.
  • Previous experience with service software and interfaces.
  • Good communication skills.
