Senior Applications Engineer in Bedford

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Applications Engineer based in Bedford for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis.

Summary Of The Senior Applications Engineer Role

Salary: £48,000-£52,000

Location: Bedford

Type of Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours Monday to Thursday 8:30 am‑4:45 pm; Friday 8:30 am‑1:30 pm

Responsibilities of the Senior Applications Engineer

• Lead selection of bespoke pumping equipment
• Preparation and delivery of quotations for large‑scale pumping systems
• Provide technical expertise during the quotation process
• Support the Commercial Manager
• Maintain up‑to‑date data recording systems
• Provide technical support

Requirements For a Successful Senior Applications Engineer

• HND in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in pump selection
• Experience in preparing and delivering quotations
• Experience in the wastewater industry or similar sectors
• Experience working within an ISO quality system
• Proficient in pump selection software and technical tools
