If you are an outstanding teacher of Spanish, or determined to become one, we would very much like to hear from you. We welcome applicants from both secondary school or sixth form.

You will join a superb college staff, strongly committed to reflecting on its teaching techniques and sharing excellent resources. Working within the English and Languages team, alongside an experienced, part-time Spanish speaking assistant, you will be responsible for the AQA A-level Spanish course. This typically involves teaching four Spanish classes: two in each year group.

The languages team has 7 staff members and offers courses in French, German and Spanish at A-level, as well as Japanese, Mandarin and Latin at lower levels. The team is known for its friendly, collaborative and supportive approach.

You will have a degree or equivalent in Spanish and must have a commitment to active and innovative teaching and learning, both inside and outside the classroom. You will also have the desire to be part of a successful teaching team and a willingness to contribute to new initiatives within the department.
