You will join a superb college staff, strongly committed to reflecting on its teaching techniques and sharing excellent resources. Working within the English and Languages team, alongside an experienced, part-time Spanish speaking assistant, you will be responsible for the AQA A-level Spanish course. This typically involves teaching four Spanish classes: two in each year group.
The languages team has 7 staff members and offers courses in French, German and Spanish at A-level, as well as Japanese, Mandarin and Latin at lower levels. The team is known for its friendly, collaborative and supportive approach.
You will have a degree or equivalent in Spanish and must have a commitment to active and innovative teaching and learning, both inside and outside the classroom.
