Barton Peveril is a highly successful 6th Form College and we have an opportunity for a Physics/Engineering Technician to join our Science and Engineering Department. You will join a team of 21 teaching staff and 4 technicians working in a spacious, well-resourced new building.

Your role will involve working alongside the Physics and Engineering teams to set up experiments and support students through their work. You will also work closely with BTEC Applied Science and assist them with experiments in their physics units.

While having knowledge of Physics is desirable, it is not essential for the role. Workshop skills are also desirable for this position, as we make use of 3D printing and CNC milling to support students' work and improve the equipment and experiments that we already have. There is opportunity for training or additional training as required.
