We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Governance Professional to lead and coordinate the College's governance function. Working closely with the Chair and Board of Governors, you will provide expert advice and support on governance, statutory responsibilities and regulatory compliance, ensuring the College continues to operate in line with best practice.

This is a pivotal role at the heart of the College's strategic leadership. You will ensure the Board is well supported to discharge its responsibilities effectively, enabling informed decision-making and promoting the highest standards of governance. You will also coordinate governor development, provide authoritative guidance on governance matters and help shape the continuous improvement of our governance framework.

The successful candidate will bring substantial experience in a governance role, together with a sound understanding of corporate governance and the effective operation of a Board. You will be an excellent communicator with strong analytical and organisational skills, able to work with professionalism, accuracy and discretion. While experience in the education sector is welcomed, we are equally interested in candidates from other sectors who can quickly develop an understanding of the legislative and regulatory framework within which the College operates.
