  • THE POST

Required for 1 September 2026, Barton Manor is seeking to appoint a part time Temporary Food Technology Technician to support the work of the Food Department to enhance student progress in Food and Nutrition, supporting them in overcoming barriers to learning and enabling them to achieve their full potential, thereby supporting the school to raise standards of achievement, improvement, attendance and behaviour.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Food Department in enhancing student progress in Food and Nutrition.
  • Help students overcome barriers to learning and enable them to achieve their full potential.
  • Support the school in raising standards of achievement, attendance and behaviour.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • A good standard of Education (Level 3).
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE English and Maths or equivalent).
  • Experience working with secondary school students (desired).
