About the Role

We have a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic experienced Arborist / Tree Surgeon who is looking to progress into an Arborist / Tree Surgeon / Part time Arborist Sales Representative / Estimator (Arboriculture) role. This position will involve running an established territory for 2 days per week and work on the crew for 3 days per week with potential over time to develop into a full time Arborist Representative. The position is based at our office near Marlow, Buckinghamshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Have a passion for preserving and caring for trees
  • Carry out pruning and general maintenance of trees and shrubs on residential and commercial properties
  • Be responsible for all areas of sales within a defined territory, including selling, marketing, customer service and other non-selling tasks
  • Advise and provide quotations for carrying out specialised tree work and plant health care services to our clients
  • Ensure the jobs are completed per the contract and to the client’s satisfaction

Requirements

  • A sound knowledge of Health and Safety
  • The ability to work to best industry practice
  • A focus on providing a high level of Customer Service
  • Prior experience of working in the tree care or related industries and preferably have worked in a commercial arboricultural environment
  • The ability to identify trees, diagnose problems and recommend corrective action or proactive management plans
  • Proven track record in sales and management of work crews (desirable)
  • Minimum of NPTC CS30, CS31, CS38 and CS39 (or equivalent)
  • Level 4 Arb qualification, PTI and/or TRAQ or equivalent (ideally), PA1 and PA6 (desirable)
  • Good IT skills
  • Applicants must have a full driving licence.
