Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Arborist role located in Cheltenham. The Arborist will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and maintenance of trees and shrubs. Daily tasks include tree inspections, implementing care plans, pruning, identifying pests and diseases, and performing necessary treatments or structural adjustments. Candidates must maintain safety standards while using industry tools and equipment, monitor tree growth, and prioritize tree preservation wherever possible.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Forestry and Arboriculture principles
- Proficiency in Tree Identification and experience working with varied tree species
- Certified Arborist qualification or equivalent experience is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of practices related to the care and maintenance of Trees
- Physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor environments under different weather conditions
- Commitment to safety and adherence to industry standards
- Previous experience in tree care or environmental roles is a plus
