Management Role Responsibilities
This is a management role responsible for the operation of the contract, liaising with the client to ensure customer satisfaction with food and service at the site. You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and motivating your team.
You will also manage the budget, complete weekly reports and stock counts, and ensure that you and your team meet GP and budget targets. This requires good planning and organizational skills, in-depth knowledge of contract catering for accurate forecasting, and a drive to deliver innovative food and service daily—something that sets Bartlett Mitchell apart from other contract caterers.

You should be a great manager and chef, capable of producing outstanding, seasonal, balanced, and nutritious menus inspired by the ingredients you work with.
Being part of our learning culture is important. Attend our forums and Academy workshops to stay updated on food innovation. Regular interaction with customers is expected to measure success, inspire new ideas, and maximize sales through our concepts and innovations.
Ideally, you will be educated to a City & Guilds 706 1 and 2, NVQ, or have equivalent skills and experience, with a minimum of a Level 3 Food Safety qualification and Level 2 Health & Safety. You must also have excellent knowledge of Food Safety Management System requirements and COSHH.
