We’re a multi‑award winning contract catering company, serving over 45,500 satisfied customers every day. We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Produce and develop the highest standard of food within required time and financial targets.
- Research innovative ideas and contribute to all areas of food production, from menu planning and capturing food trends to delighting our customers.
- Communicate effectively, promote team spirit and company culture, and adjust work speed to meet business needs.
- Gather customer feedback, measure success, and commit to continuous learning by attending workshops and forums.
- Improve kitchen management skills and grow professionally.
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience and education to C & G 706 1 & 2, NVQ or equivalent.
- Food Safety and Health and Safety certificates at level 2.
- Working knowledge of COSHH & HACCP.
- Two years’ experience in a similar sized operation (advantageous).
- Some experience supervising others.
