The Role:

We have a rare opportunity to join us as an Experienced Senior Broker within our Corporate Risks Division. This role is ideal for a methodical, organised, and efficient professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service.

We currently have an opportunity to join our established Broking Department, handling a diverse range of client business within the Corporate Risks Division. As a Senior Broker, you will work alongside an experienced team to manage complex insurance programmes and oversee the broking process, ensuring the efficient placement and servicing of client accounts. In addition to managing your portfolio of clients, you will be supported by, and play a crucial role in coaching and developing, a supportive and high-performing division.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Addressing client queries, providing advice, and designing solutions for complex requirements.
  • Optimising solutions through detailed knowledge of products and providers.
  • Negotiating and strong relationship building skills to retain a profitable book of business.
  • Maintaining positive working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Effectively managing own workload to ensure that service standards are met.
  • Use excellent communication and client handling abilities to always ensure an outstanding client experience.
  • Working as a team player and helping colleagues when required.
  • Participating in team initiatives and workshops.
  • Obtaining and maintaining the level of technical knowledge required to be competent in your role including completing required CPD hours per year.
  • To be aware of and comply with relevant FCA regulations.

The Ideal Candidate:

You are an experienced insurance professional, committed to self-development and technically minded.

  • You practice good work habits: setting priorities and goals and following through on commitments.
  • You are known for integrity, honesty, authenticity and transparency.
  • You consistently demonstrate strong performance so colleagues can rely upon you.
  • You are open to a changing environment and new challenges.
  • Significant experience in corporate risk insurance across multiple lines of insurance. (This role is likely to suit someone with 10+ years of relevant experience)
  • Acturis system knowledge – desirable.
  • CII qualifications - desirable.
