Bartlett Employee Benefits division is growing fast and looking for an ambitious, articulate and entrepreneurial Business Development Executive, with a strong track record, to support our continued growth. Our team is the most important part of our success and we pride ourselves on providing all of our colleagues with the necessary tools and training to thrive and become experts in their field.
Working within our Business Development team, you will provide your colleagues with qualified appointments with prospective clients, sharing in the continued success of the business. Although experience within financial services is preferred, it is not essential. Bartlett has a history of developing exceptional talent from a variety of sectors and providing the training and support to allow everyone to reach their potential.
- Develop a thorough understanding of our products and services and what makes Bartlett an exceptional advisory firm for Employee Benefits (training is provided).
- Contact pre-identified prospective clients through outbound phone calls, email, LinkedIn and other marketing channels.
- Support the sales team with marketing projects and campaigns.
- Identify and proactively speak to the decision makers for Employee Benefits ensuring qualified, quality and productive meetings are set for the Business Development team.
- Participate in new business initiatives, contributing ideas to these wherever possible.
- Undertake prospect database cleansing activities.
- Promptly and accurately update and maintain databases of prospective client data.
- Manage a task and diary system, supporting the ongoing contact strategy for the prospective client database.
- Achieve and maintain the required level of Training & Competence.
You are a strong and articulate communicator with a proficient level of written and spoken English and grammar. Ability to efficiently manage your own workload often without supervision. Experience of working with CRM databases. You are proficient in Word and Excel with strong organisational/administrative skills.
