Bartlett are looking for a commercially minded and detail-oriented professional with a legal background to join our growing M&A Transactions Insurance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified solicitors or experienced corporate paralegals who want to use their legal skills in a new, forward-thinking environment – one that’s highly professional, client-focused and offers a genuine work/life balance.
The Opportunity
Working closely with the Head of M&A Transactions, you will play a central role in supporting clients involved in complex corporate deals. You’ll assess risk, review transaction documentation, and help clients navigate M&A transactions by arranging suitable insurance solutions.
You will:
– Review transaction documentation to identify and assess potential risks
– Conduct due diligence and produce clear, concise reports for clients
– Advise on and negotiate terms for Warranty & Indemnity (W&I) and related policies
– Liaise directly with clients, insurers and legal advisers to secure optimal outcomes
– Contribute to the continued growth and development of this specialist area within Bartlett
This is a non-practising legal role, but one where your legal training, attention to detail and analytical mindset will be invaluable. You’ll work closely with a team that includes several former lawyers who have successfully made the transition into this rewarding, commercial environment.
