Due to continued expansion, Bartington Instruments Ltd is looking to recruit Production Assemblers on an initial 12-month Fixed Term Contract basis reporting to the Production Manager. Previous experience in a similar role is desired, but not essential as full training and PPE will be provided where required.

The Role: Assemble and test electronics devices and instruments.

Main Duties:

  • Electro/mechanical assembly and test of electronic sensors and instruments;
  • Soldering of surface mount and conventional components;
  • Other duties as required by a Manager or Director of the Company.

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Manual dexterity;
  • Be a team player;
  • Be reliable, enthusiastic and methodical.

Advantageous:

  • Experience of electro/mechanical assembly;
  • Good soldering skills;
  • Formal qualification in electronics;
  • Understanding of ISO processes relevant to the manufacture of electronic equipment.

Hours and Salary: This position is for a 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday; Salary is depending on capabilities and experience; Initial 12-month fixed-term contract.
