The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 Β£ per hour.
We are looking for Seasonal Harvest Samplers to join us over the summer - usually from the 3rd week of July, through August and into the start of September. This is to be part of our sampling team, supporting our farmers customers during the busy cereal harvest across the South of England and covering farms in Sussex, Kent, Wiltshire, Somerset and Dorset. This role is to cover farms in and around Hampshire, and may also cross into Wiltshire / West Sussex.
You will be traveling to farms across the region and relevant to your home address. You will be allocated with a company van to collect crop samples of wheat, barley and oats, and return them to our laboratory in Chichester for quality testing. Full training, equipment, a daily work schedule and van are provided. This is a hands-on, outdoor role involving walking fields, climbing grain piles, confidence in driving is essential and polite and professional interaction with our customers. This year, you will also help us build up a record with what3words location coordinates to help us support efficient collections and deliveries.
Responsibilities- Travel to and work at farms across the region, collecting crop samples of wheat, barley and oats.
