Are you an organised, customer-focused professional with a passion for delivering excellent service and supporting sales growth? We are looking for a proactive Sales Administrator to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, providing cover during a period of absence. There is potential for the role to become permanent, subject to business needs and the ongoing requirements of the business.

About the Role

As a Sales Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for our farming customers, providing a responsive and professional service while converting enquiries into confirmed sales orders. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships is at the heart of this role. Initially, your focus will be on our Feed product categories, particularly straight feeds for livestock and game feeds, while also supporting customers across our wider agricultural product range, including fertilisers and agrochemicals.

Main Duties

  • Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via telephone and email.
  • Convert customer enquiries into sales orders and provide excellent customer service.
  • Process and manage sales orders accurately using Dynamics 365.
  • Maintain customer records and complete sales administration efficiently.
  • Develop knowledge of Feed products and wider agricultural inputs to support customers effectively.
  • Provide product information, pricing and availability details to customers.
  • Support the remote sales team with order processing and administration.
  • Assist the wider office team, including reception cover during busy periods and absences.
  • Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.
