Fantastic customer-focused opportunity to build a career in a renowned agri-food business encompassing our successful range of bird-feeds and our livestock feed sales, which includes our own range of branded products. You will play a key part in supporting and developing our portfolio of customer accounts. Working closely with the wider Bird-food, Livestock Feed and operations teams, ensuring our customers receive excellent service while identifying new opportunities to grow and develop our Bird-food and Feed business. The role will be permanent and full-time working from our office at Chichester on Chichester Food Park.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing customers within the bird-food and feed categories.
- Handle enquiries, process orders, and provide product information and updates.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding account value.
- Work collaboratively with production, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
- Support the commercial team with market insights, price updates, and customer feedback.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and account activity.
- Attend occasional customer visits, trade events, or supplier meetings when required.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is personable, proactive, and commercially aware. You will ideally bring:
- Experience in account management, customer service, or sales (agri/feed sector experience beneficial but not essential).
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
- Confidence working with data, pricing, and CRM systems.
- A genuine interest in agriculture, feed or rural industries.
- A UK Drivers License would be advantageous as there will be Trade Events and Company events to attend through the year.
