We are looking for a dedicated, reliable, and enthusiastic Cook (Bank hours) to join our team at Bartholamew Lodge Nursing Home. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals and understands the important role good food plays in health and wellbeing. Conveniently located close to Wednesbury town centre, Bartholamew Lodge provides a warm, welcoming, and homely environment for up to 30 residents. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, homely environment where residents receive high-quality care and enjoy freshly prepared meals tailored to their individual needs and preferences. Whether you are an experienced Cook looking for a new opportunity or someone with a background in catering who would like to make a meaningful difference in a care setting, we would love to hear from you., We are looking to speak with applicants that are passionate about cooking and providing a range of quality meals for the people who live within the care home. We will look to you to prepare and cook, hot and cold meals, taking into consideration dietary requirements and individual preferences. Further responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

• Maintain accurate records of food supplies and deliveries
• Plan or contribute to menus with a focus on fresh ingredients and balanced nutrition
• Stock rotation
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned, well maintained, and stored appropriately
• Ensure the cleaning of the kitchen and dining areas are carried out effectively
  Food / Hygiene Certificate
• Good communication skills
• Team player
• Ability to work on own initiative.
