Marketing Manager – Bartech Marine Engineering (Full-Time, Hybrid-Based, Colchester)

Bartech Marine Engineering has been delivering safety through mechanical excellence since 1987. Family-owned and respected globally, we specialise in the overhaul, maintenance, and repair of critical diesel engines and propulsion systems. With a track record of innovation and reliability, we’re looking for a Marketing Manager to join us at an exciting stage of our journey.
About the Role
This is an opportunity to step into a marketing role where successful foundations are already in place – from consistent branding and engaging campaigns to strong supplier partnerships and CRM activity. Your role will be to enhance, develop, and lead these established marketing processes, aligning them more closely to our commercial strategy and market opportunities.
You’ll be working across the Bartech Group (Marine, Propulsion, Turbos, Controls, and Parts) to plan and deliver multi-channel campaigns, generate qualified leads, and grow awareness in key sectors. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit clients and our engineers on site to capture engaging material, gain a deeper understanding of the work we do, and bring our services to life through content.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies that support commercial and brand goals
- Lead SEO, website, CRM, and social media activity to improve visibility and lead generation
- Create compelling content (case studies, video, articles) in collaboration with technical and field teams
- Organise events, exhibitions, and presentations that strengthen client relationships
- Work with existing systems and suppliers to deliver high-quality, consistent campaigns
- Analyse campaign performance, report on KPIs, and optimise for results
