What you’ll be doing

  • Support the Head Chef with the day‑to‑day running of the kitchen
  • Lead and motivate the kitchen team during service
  • Help train, coach, and develop junior chefs
  • Assist with menu development using fresh, seasonal ingredients
  • Manage stock, ordering, and help minimise waste
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and kitchen organisation are always maintained
  • Stepping up to lead the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence
