Join us at Beds & Bars to drive events, private hires, and pre‑booked sales across our pubs and bars.
About Us
Beds & Bars is the company behind St Christopher’s Inns, Belushi’s, and a family of well‑loved pubs, bars, and backpacker hostels across Europe. We operate in 9 cities across 7 countries, welcoming travellers, locals, and groups looking for lively, safe, great‑value places to eat, drink, stay, and celebrate. Our motto, “Live Your Life,” sums up what we are all about: fun experiences, genuine hospitality, and a positive, supportive environment for our teams.
The Role
You will be the central driver for pre‑booked sales, events, and private hire across our estate. From Saturday night groups and sports‑day crowds to Christmas parties and summer events, you will help our venues turn enquiries into confirmed business, and make sure guests have a brilliant experience from the moment they book. A big part of the job will also be looking after our pre‑booked sales system (Collins) and helping venues get the best out of it. This is a hybrid role; with three or more days a week spent in our London Hammersmith office or out on‑site with venue teams. Some travel within the UK may be needed from time to time.
What You Will Be Doing
In this role, you will guide how our venues plan for busy weekends, big moments on the calendar, and anything that drives demand. You will take ownership of our pre‑booked sales processes and work closely with venue managers, marketing, digital, and central support to keep everything connected. A big part of your day‑to‑day will involve shaping how we use Collins, from improving conversions and auto‑confirm settings to making sure the system properly reflects upcoming events, sports fixtures, and seasonal peaks. You will spend time working alongside venue teams, helping them prepare for key trading moments and supporting them in balancing walk‑ins with pre‑booked business. You will also share best practices across the group and help refine how we approach private hire and events.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing pre‑booked sales strategy across pubs and bars, especially for evenings, weekends, and seasonal peaks.
- Managing and optimising Collins to improve conversions, auto‑confirms, and booking efficiency.
- Supporting venues with event and private‑hire sales, helping them plan and sell everything from birthdays to large functions.
- Working with marketing and digital to ensure campaigns translate into confirmed bookings with a smooth guest journey.
- Using insight and venue feedback to improve systems, processes, and overall sales performance.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in hospitality sales, ideally within pubs, bars, or event‑led settings.
- Strong working knowledge of Collins.
- Good understanding of evening, weekend, and seasonal trading patterns.
- Background in pre‑booked sales, events, or private hire.
- Comfortable working with targets, systems, and performance data.
- Hands‑on, collaborative, proactive approach.
- Ability to work well with both central teams and venue managers.
What You Can Expect from Us
- 50% off food and drink across all Beds & Bars venues.
- Discounted stays at St Christopher’s Inns and partner hostels worldwide.
- Regular incentives, recognition awards, and team trips.
- Free mental health support and wellbeing services.
- Industry‑recognised training and genuine development opportunities.
- A friendly, supportive team who value creativity, collaboration, and new ideas.
