Are you looking for a fun, vibrant, and youthful team within Vienna? St. Christopher's Hostel is the place for you! We are an international hostel provider with locations across Europe and the UK. Our goal is to be a place of inclusion, for guests to interact and for friendships to grow!
We are opening a role within our reception team for a part-time receptionist, operating on either a 20-hour contract for students or a 24-hour contract for non-students. The reception role is vital to our success, with tasks including:
- Booking guests into the hostel
- Advising on our offering and services
- Assisting guests with enquiries and questions
- Managing our booking systems
- Ensuring an effective handover to the day team
- Working with the management team on security and safety
You will be operating on our overnight shift, from 23:00 – 07:00, as well as the occasional evening shift, from 15:00 – 23:00.
Essential requirements:
- Be eligible or have all necessary documentation to be legally employed in Austria
- Have an up-to-date/active bank account in your own name
- Be able to converse fluently in English
- Currently be based within the 23 districts of Vienna
The Role - Main Responsibilities:
- Booking guests into the hostel, advising on our offering and services
- Assisting guests with enquiries and questions
- Managing the St. Christopher's booking system
- Ensuring an effective handover to the day team
- Working with the management team on security and safety
- Advising guests on Viennese attractions
