Job Role Overview
We are looking for a General Manager who can take the lead at one of our Beds & Bars sites and help it thrive. This isn’t a desk‑only job, it’s hands‑on, fast‑paced, and perfect for someone who enjoys a mix of day‑to‑day operations and bigger‑picture thinking. You will be the person making sure everything runs smoothly: the team, the guests, the budgets, the atmosphere, and the overall success of the site. Some days you will be coaching the team, other days you will be digging into the numbers, and there will always be moments where you’re helping create a great experience for the people who walk through the door.
Here’s what you will be looking after:
- Keeping daily operations on track, safe, and up to standard.
- Making sure the site follows all legal, health, and safety requirements.
- Setting and delivering plans to hit financial and operational targets.
- Reviewing performance and making improvements where needed.
- Managing budgets and keeping an eye on costs.
- Leading, training, and supporting your team so they can grow and succeed.
- Ensuring guests always get great service and feel welcomed.
- Staying calm and proactive when challenges or changes pop up.
- Building strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and your local community.
- Working with the marketing and ops teams to bring in new customers and keep regulars coming back.
