Job Description:
The Parts Sales Specialist plays a key role in driving revenue growth and customer loyalty within the Parts Value Stream. This position combines technical expertise with strong sales and customer relationship skills to proactively identify opportunities, upsell products and services, and ensure a seamless customer experience. By delivering world-class service, the specialist strengthens long-term partnerships and maximizes customer satisfaction.
Additionally, this role fosters a culture of professional growth, empowering team members to unlock their full potential. It also actively contributes to our Lean journey, continuously identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and business performance.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide a timely response to incoming inquiries; provide light technical support by answering questions about machine features or functions
- Interact directly with customers as a member of the team in person to ensure best in class service is delivered
- Proactively sell company products via advice to existing customers on substitutions and identical replacements parts, and value-added solutions
- Use sales experience to actively engage with the customer base, ensuring consistent communication, strengthening relationships, and driving increased spend.
- Maximize sales opportunities for replacement parts by conducting proactive outreach, identifying customer needs, and recommending solutions to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Execute targeted sales campaigns to re-engage inactive accounts, increase penetration within key customers, and expand market share.
- Collaborate with other functions to resolve technical and/or logistical issues, providing recommendations that enhance the customer experience.
- Prepare Infor quotes, provide timely correspondence, update order statuses, and close out quotes upon receipt of purchase orders.
- Contact customers to gather missing order information and resolve order-related inquiries efficiently.
- Process customer credits and engage in returns process and determine root cause or defer to appropriate team, as necessary
- Actively utilize the Customer Resource Management system to maintain accurate records of all contacts, equipment, locations, and sales opportunities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience with sales, sales support or customer service
- Computer skills – proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
