Job Description: The Customer Services Team is an integral part of the commercial sales organisation, and representatives are responsible for supporting and contributing to the team’s success. As a Customer Services Representative you will be responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, understanding customer needs, and aligning them with applicable BW product offerings. Your daily activities will centre around ensuring customers have a world class experience with top level support, supporting their needs for spare parts, and achieving the company goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generate quotations and enter sales orders for our spares parts business.
  • Work with the technical support team to answer customer questions in a timely manner.
  • Proactively follow up on quotations, enquiring when the customer plans to purchase the items quoted along with answering any questions they might have about the proposal.
  • Maintain exceptional customer relationships through proactive contact.
  • Be a customer advocate relating to order delivery requirements and provide status updates on our progress.
  • Work with all internal departments to ensure the customer receives superb customer service from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with the wider UK CS team to ensure best practice and consistency of process.
  • Assist in the resolution of customer claims and ensure resolution of customer complaints following department policy.
  • Maximise each customer interaction to grow the business and promote BW products and services.
  • Collaborate with various members of the internal organization to build relationships within the existing customer base and create relationships with new and emerging prospects.
  • Minimal UK travel will be required.

Qualifications:

  • Post secondary degree and/or a minimum 3-5 years’ experience in technical sales or a sales support role.

  • Aptitude to understand mechanical drawings and basic schematics.
  • Willingness to accept a challenge and inclined to take initiative.
