About Barry M

At Barry M, we’ve been proudly cruelty‑free and 100% vegan since day one. As one of the UK’s leading independent cosmetics brands, we’re known for our vibrant innovation, bold creativity, and commitment to making beauty accessible to everyone. We’re passionate about colour, trend, and sustainability — and we’re looking for equally passionate people to join our growing team.

Role Overview

We’re looking for an organised, proactive, and commercially minded Junior National Account Executive to join our Sales team. In this role, you’ll support the Sales & Customer Service team in delivering exceptional service to our retail and e‑commerce partners. You’ll help coordinate promotional activity, manage account administration, track sales performance, and ensure smooth cross‑functional communication. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with early experience in sales support, customer service, or commercial coordination who’s ready to develop their career in account management within a fast‑paced, creative beauty environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support National Account Executives in managing day‑to‑day relationships with key UK and international retailers.
  • Assist with order tracking, stock checks, and the resolution of customer and retailer queries.
  • Collaborate closely with the Customer Service team to ensure orders and deliveries are processed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain regular, professional communication with retail partners.
  • Collate and analyse weekly sales and promotional data to identify trends and insights.
  • Prepare sales summaries, presentations, and dashboards for internal and external meetings.
  • Help maintain account trackers, price lists, and promotional schedules.
  • Support the execution of retailer promotions, new product launches, and marketing activations.
  • Work cross‑functionally with Marketing, NPD, and Design teams to deliver accurate and timely materials.
  • Monitor promotional performance and share feedback with the wider team.
  • Coordinate the distribution and tracking of point‑of‑sale materials and product stand updates.
  • Partner with supply chain and operations teams to ensure merchandising deadlines are met.
  • Help monitor store compliance and uphold Barry M’s merchandising standards.
  • Act as a key liaison between Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance.
  • Support team meetings through agenda preparation, reporting, and presentation development.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date files, systems, and shared documents.

About You

  • Experience in a sales support, customer service, or commercial coordination role — ideally within beauty, FMCG, or retail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (comfortable with formulas, PivotTables, and charts).
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and time management.
  • Effective communicator with a positive, can‑do attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Analytical thinker, confident interpreting data and turning it into meaningful insights.
  • Passionate about beauty and excited by the opportunity to grow within a leading cosmetics brand.

What You’ll Gain

  • Exposure to major UK and international retail accounts.
  • Experience working across Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain functions.
  • Training and mentorship from experienced National Account Executives.
  • A supportive environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and career development.
  • A clear pathway to progress into a National Account Executive role.
  • Hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
  • Birthday given as holiday.
  • Barry M monthly product allowance.
  • More benefits explained on induction.
